  1. I have been out of my yoga class about a year before the lockdowns and since last November when I had a pain pump installed for a crushed vertebrae I haven’t done anything. So it’s two days after my 60th bday and I see so many reasons to get back into it. I used to love that it helped me move better than I had since 85 when I shattered the bone in a car accident. I really enjoyed this session and loved that I could do it with my kitty as she watched and stretched too. Lol. I am terrible with self motivation, T E R R I B L E LOLOL. Having said that going to try and keep watching your videos. You are very relaxing and give great advice. I know not to do things that hurt and my last instructor taught me a few “bypass poses so I can still participate. My question is how long should I watch beginners videos before moving on? I added the other poses I know to this workout and feel tired but ready to tackle cleaning my storage unit lol. Another question is what motivates you? How do keep it up? Two days ago I turned 60 and am getting involved in a drag charity organization that needs me to be on my feet for a few hours at a time and after two I’m hurting on those muscles that surround the lumbar spine. I know I need LOTS of core work. Any suggestions.

  2. Its been 7 years I think since this video was posted, and look at the new people who keep on coming and returning to this video. Adriene, thank you for existing as well as for creating this wonderful channel that's meant not only for yogis but to a kind like me who's literally new to the Yoga World. I love the way how you explain every poses, the way you guide us as if you're really here, teaching it live; how you assure us that we can get through this routine without any fancy equipments just an open heart and mind. This is the best yoga channel ( a real life-changer ) and your the best yoga mentor ever! Keep posting, Ms.Adriene… I'll be looking forward to your new videos every day. Lovelots!

  3. I love your chatter and positive approach. I’ve done yoga a couple of times in classes but could never really get into it enough to go to classes. I knew I had felt so tired and tight after having a baby last year and just felt so unfit and a bit low about it. I went on YouTube and yours was the first video I found. I really enjoyed it the first time- I felt like I could breathe better after it and I could feel it was a bit tough but doable. I’ve done it four days out of the past five and I feel that I’m getting more flexible each time. Can’t believe this is free ??? Love it 💖

  4. I always have pain in my knees when it comes to these lunches…:/ are there more videos without so many exercises on the knees ?????? or could you explain in a video what exactly to do with the kneecap there ???
