Yoga For A Fresh Start | Yoga With Adriene

A practice designed for humans living through disorienting times. This complete session is designed to help you use the tools of yoga to become aware of where you are so you can mindfully guide yourself forward. Increase flexibility, build strength, improve posture with this breath led yoga practice.

In this session, we will ease in, practice breath technique, and MOVE.

Be prepared to let go of what no longer is serving you, feel the power of your own presence, and boost your connection with feelings of balance, ease, creativity, and contentment.

Encouraged but optional: bring a blanket or towel to sit on.

  1. This session is not a fix all but I think it does a damn good job of gently putting you in an empowered role to center in your awareness and guide yourself forward.
    Because no one else can do that for you.

  3. Me: I think I should have done a meditation before this?
    Adriene: Inhale and exhale
    Me; Ugh! my neck hurts. Should I do some neck stretches?
    Adriene: Move your head to the left.
    Me: I don't feel like moving much
    Adriene: moves in slow relaxing pace
    Me: Why do I not choose a cardio or stregth video?

  7. Iโ€™m a little late to this video, because I have pushed off yoga for months now due to my mental health spiraling. Today is the day I decided to take my mental health into my own hands again. It felt amazing to move my body along with my breath again. Iโ€™m making it a commitment to myself to show up everyday, even if itโ€™s only for 10 minutes. My life changes today and I release what doesnโ€™t serve me any more !!

I have been dealing with addiction for over five years now and you both have become a safe haven for when I have slipped yet you bring me back to focus.. it has been a struggle and everyday is a fresh start…so this was very much needed today… Onward and Forward <3 Love and Light <3
