  3. i always come back to this video, especially after work– i feel like practices that are more than 30 minutes are a bit too much for weekdays. and this just hits the spot! sometimes i like to do this as a warmup before a workout as well.

  5. I've been doing YWA for about 3 years and just took a break a month because I have breast cancer and had a mastectomy. I missed YWA so much in that month. I'm back today, taking it easy and it feels great 👍.

  6. This is a great wake up yourself practice, just a fairly short 20 minutes to say hello to all those body parts. I even was very tree like on one side, yay.

  12. I had a hard time doing standing lunge in the beginning of my yoga journey. After 3 months of (almost) daily practice, I was able to do it pretty smoothly. My back leg was no longer weak and pretty firm in the position. Great video!

  16. the cueing is muddled by her trying to make everything sound pretty rather than giving concise cues. She also uses this breathy bedroom voice rather than just speaking clearly. Also love how pairing it with meditation seems to be an afterthought to her when meditation is literally the point of yoga. this ain't it for me.

I wanted to like this but the awkward sequencing (“kicking” your leg up is a great way to get hurt…movements should be slow and mindful to build strength and prevent injury)…coupled with the non-yogic/ujjayi breathing (aka the instructor constantly going “phhhhhhhewww” very audibly on the outbreath) was very distracting and really broke the vibe.

    Once again, I had to insert this in the night after going out of the house. This was refreshing and kind. Once more, I admire how encouraging and welcoming these videos are. I've noticed how my balance and posture have improved. The positions become more familiar to me. Thank you so much for these. It means a lot.

  21. I have been following ywa for 5 years. I discovered this flow 3 days ago and I have been practicing it after my morning meditation. It is a great energizer and mood lifter. Thank you Adriene.

  22. Watching crafts has been building ideas of strength, women find within their own time. Building from the sutras I have noticed the eagle is a sequence that I would like to form and shape a mudra. Your vinyassa is perfect

  23. Almost skipped today's practice cause I felt that going for a long walk would be the same, look at me on the mat having finished today's practice😅. My left shoulder was giving me a hard time and I almost gave up half way but after the practice it feels amazing 🙂
